Student Council postpones dance until March

To celebrate the end of the first semester, SHS Student Council will be hosting their annual semi-formal Winter Ball for SHS students in the Practice Gym on Saturday, Jan. 21 from 7-10 p.m. Admission is $10 and the standard dress code and rules apply.

This dance follows the standard school policy and rules for inviting students from other schools.

There will also be Spirit Week the following week to celebrate the new semester (Jan. 23-26), including a Pep Rally that Friday, Jan. 26.

The Spirit Days are themed as follows:

Monday, Jan. 23: Country vs. Country Club

Tuesday, Jan. 24: Bikers vs. Surfers 

Wednesday, Jan. 25: Celebrity Day

Thursday, Jan. 26: Anything but a Backpack

Friday, Jan. 27: Red and White
