Boys and Girls basketball play quarterfinals; SHS hosts Wrestling State Championships, Indoor Track and Swim Compete on President’s Day

The following varsity teams will be competing in post-season competitions over the next two weeks:

Wednesday, February 15: Boys Basketball

Boys basketball will be playing in a quarterfinal game on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at South Portland at 7 p.m.  

Admission prices are $5 adults, $3 students/seniors and cash, credit or debit cards are accepted at the door.  Concessions will be available.  The game will be live-streamed on the NFHS Network.

THursday, February 16: Girls Basketball

Girls basketball will be hosting Noble on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. in a quarterfinal game.

Tickets can be purchased at the door (cash only). Adults $5, Students and seniors $2. The game will be live-streamed at WSSR TV.

UPDATE: After defeating Noble 52-19, they now move on to play Gorham in the semifinal game on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.

Tickets are available for purchase on site. MPA Pricing is as follows — $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors 65+.

Saturday, February 18: BOYS WRESTLING

Sanford High School will be hosting the State Wrestling Championships on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. Ticket purchasing is online thru the Maine Principals’ Association or cash at the door.  MPA pricing is in effect — $10 for adults/$5 for students and seniors 65+. 

The event will be live-streamed. You must have a subscription with NFHS to live stream the meet. 

Monday, February 20: INDOOR TRACk

On Monday, February 20th the Indoor Track Team will be participating in the Class A Track and Field Championships at 12 p.m. at USM Gorham.  Ticket purchasing is online thru the MPA or cash at the door.  MPA pricing is in effect — $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors 65+.  

This event will be live-streamed. You must have a subscription with NFHS to live stream the event. 

Monday, February 20: GIRLS CLASS A SWIM

Also on Monday, the Class A Girls Swim Championships will be held at Bowdoin College at 11 a.m. The event will be live-streamed at whou.live.

Tuesday, February 21: BOYS CLASS A SWIM

On Tuesday, the 21st the Class A Boys Swim Championships will be held at Bowdoin College at 11 a.m. The event will be lived streamed at whou.live.

Tuesday, February 21: GirlS WRESTLING

On Tuesday, February 21, Girls Wrestling will compete at Wells High School for the State competition at 10 a.m. MPA Ticketing is $10 adults, $5 students and seniors 65+.

Additionally, the Wrestling New England Qualifier will be held at Camden Hills Regional High School on Friday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m.
