On April 5, Sanford High School’s National Honor Society (NHS), will be hosting the Annual Variety Show in the Performing Arts Center.
Auditions will be held on Thursday, March 16 during Spartan Time. All who are interested should meet at the Agora during this time.
The variety show is a great opportunity to showcase the talented staff and students within the Sanford High School community.
NHS President, Audrey Coleman, shared, “Last year we had some singing and instrumental acts, but also some acts like a Virtual Reality Demonstration. All are welcome to audition because we want the most diverse show!”
Everyone is encouraged to attend the show on April 5 and support their fellow classmates and teachers. NHS advisor, Mrs. Thompson, added that it’s a great way to get out and have a date night as well as appreciate the varied talents within the student body and staff.
Additionally, fellow NHS Advisor Mrs. Works, shared that she is “Looking forward to NHS’s annual Variety Show where we get to see students and staff showcase their amazing talents and skills as well as fundraise to be able to support community service projects throughout the school.”
All of the proceeds from the event will be used to support the NHS.
There is a lot to look forward to and much like last year the raffles are a significant part of the event. Local businesses will be donating various items to be raffled upon.
The NHS has been working hard to put together a fun and entertaining evening for all.
“We have some hardworking and creative MC’s who have prepared an entertaining script, a variety of concessions, and a huge raffle selection with great prizes. I can’t wait!” added Coleman.
