Sanford High School’s Advanced Placement (AP) Research students will be hosting a symposium on Wednesday, May 24, from 1-5 p.m. in the Agora. All students, staff and community members are welcome, and anyone planning to attend should enter through door 43 by the Competition Gym.

The students will be showcasing their posters created based on the research projects they’ve been working on all year. This class is made up of juniors and seniors including Emma Adawadkar, Ava Gendron, Aidan Gendron, Zachary Parison, Lily Morse, Jack Cullen, Lamar Amoakohene, Kamryn Sanborn and Oliver Sigouin.

AP Research Teacher, Mrs. Kelly Tibbets explains that this event is similar to college symposiums, which is a great way to prepare students for similar experiences in the future.

Adawadkar shared, “I am looking forward to the upcoming AP Research Symposium. Our research class has worked hard all year to become experts on topics of our interest. It will be great to see everyone’s unique research projects come to fruition.”
