Vibrant and youthful restaurant in Shaw’s Plaza expects to open soon

SANFORD, Maine – Berryfull, a new restaurant opening in the Shaw’s Plaza, anticipates its opening day in the coming weeks.
According to their Facebook, they’re almost finished with the remodeling of the inside and getting the kitchen ready for opening.
Berryfull’s menu will have acai bowls, smoothie bowls, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, brunch items and more.
The owner of Berryfull, who has worked as a chef in Portland for more than 15 years, is branching out of his comfort zone to give Sanford something new.
According to Berryfull’s spokesperson, Michelle Ayala, Berryfull noticed that while there are a lot of fast food places in town, “there’s nothing really in town for high school kids and young adults, and you kind of have to drive far to do fun stuff.”
Berryfull aims to be a place where people can have food and drinks but also just hang out and have fun with friends.
“We want to tell the community that this is something for all ages,” Ayala said. “We want to open up to everybody and have something on the menu for everybody.”
Ayala also said that they’re looking to do some promotions or coupons for high school students. Stay tuned for their opening day!
